Description
A Chicken Breast with Ribs, is made by separating the body at the junction of the vertebral ribs and the back. The upper half or Breast half will be the basis for the Chicken Breast with Ribs. Chicken Breasts with Ribs may be cut along the Breastbone to make two roughly equivalent halves. The resulting portions are known as a Breast Half with Ribs. The Chicken Tenderloin may or may not be part of this cut.
Chicken Breast with Ribs are available all year long.
Alternatively, 3 portions can be made by removing the Wishbone and then cutting along the breastbone. Neck skin should not be included in a Chicken Breast with Ribs.
